Over 40 + English translations of the Bible were consulted and compared along with the study of the ancient Hebrew with its Greek equivalents via interlinears, word studies, lexicons, dictionaries, textual variants, and scholastic comments and articles. The appendix shows the changing views of Christendom's leaders over the centuries.
